Past over de M8 bevestigingsbout van het zijframe en onder de borgmoer, waardoor de klemdruk wordt verdeeld op het punt waar de hardtop aan de carrosserie wordt bevestigd. Een correcte, dikke ring hier houdt de bevestiging strak en helpt beweging, rammels en waterinsijpeling bij de bevestiging te voorkomen. De bijbehorende bout is AYR500110.
