What is the DA1292 LED light kit?

The DA1292 LED light kit is a coloured-lens 73mm lighting upgrade from Wipac for the Land Rover Defender and Series II/III. It includes front sidelights, front and rear indicators, stop/tail lamps, a reverse lamp and a rear fog lamp, plus an LED flasher unit.

Which Land Rovers does the 73mm kit fit?

This 73mm LED kit fits the Land Rover Defender from 1987 on and the Series II/III, wherever the 73mm round lamp format is used. The lamps are made by Wipac.

Is it plug-and-play to fit?

The 73mm lamps use AMP-type connectors for direct plug-in replacement of the original lamps. The reverse and fog lamps are supplied without connectors, so they need wiring to suit your vehicle.

Why is a flasher unit included?

LED indicators draw less current than filament bulbs, which would otherwise make the indicators flash too fast. The supplied LED flasher unit matches the lower current draw and keeps the indicators flashing at the correct rate.
