Deze metalen tandring zet de koppen van de bevestigingsmiddelen vast door na het aandraaien een lipje tegen de boutkop of moer te buigen, waardoor losraken door trillingen wordt voorkomen. Wordt gebruikt om de voorrem-achterplaat aan de asstomp en bij de bevestigingspunten van het fuseehuis te bevestigen. Vervang de plaat door een nieuwe telkens wanneer de bevestigingsmiddelen worden losgemaakt - hergebruik nooit een eerder gebogen blokkeerplaat.
