The DA1647 kit adapts the Rover V8 plenum chamber to accept a Colvern throttle position sensor in place of the original two-bolt potentiometer used on the EFi and Hotwire 14CUX injection systems. The fitted sensor is then a cheaper, more readily available replacement.

Throttle potentiometers typically wear on the internal track over time, which can cause erratic idle, hesitation or stalling on the V8 EFi and 14CUX systems. This kit switches the engine to a Colvern sensor, so future replacements are cheaper and easier to source.
