Deurbelgrendel is een draaiende hefboom in de zijdeurgrendelconstructie die de bediening van de hendelkoppeling overbrengt naar de grendel.

Gemonteerd aan de binnenkant van de deur achter de grendel, stuurt de belkruk de beweging van de buitenste en binnenste hendelstangen via een haakse draaipunt om naar de grendelontgrendeling, zodat de deur betrouwbaar kan worden geopend. Het is een slijtageonderdeel van het deurslotmechanisme en wordt vervangen wanneer de bediening van de hendel stroef wordt of de grendel niet kan worden ontgrendeld.
