Omschrijving:
De Oliepomp - 200Tdi is de motoraangedreven pomp die verantwoordelijk is voor het circuleren van olie onder druk door het smeersysteem van de 200Tdi 2.5L direct-ingespoten dieselmotor.

De oliepomp is gemonteerd aan de voorzijde, onderin de motor, en wordt aangedreven door de krukas. Hij zuigt olie aan uit het carter en levert deze onder druk aan de hoofdlagers, drijfstanglagers, nokkenas en klepbediening. Slijtage in de tandwielen van de pomp vermindert de stroomcapaciteit en druk, wat kan leiden tot lagerschade en vroegtijdige motorslijtage. Vervanging wordt aanbevolen als voorzorgsmaatregel tijdens elke grote motorrevisie.
