Afdichtring voor de 2.5L Td5-motor, gebruikt voor het afdichten van schroefdraad- en banjo-verbindingen in de brandstof- en koelsystemen.

Geplaatst tegen het pasvlak van een fitting, vervormt de ring onder aanhaalmoment om een lekvrije afdichting te vormen. Op de Td5 wordt deze gebruikt op plaatsen zoals de verbindingen van verstuiverleidingen en de aansluitingen van het koelvloeistof-/waterhuis. Als een 'crush-type' afdichting is deze bedoeld voor eenmalig gebruik en moet deze worden vervangen telkens wanneer de verbinding wordt losgemaakt.
