Aircopijp - Ontvanger/Droger naar Koppeling voor het airconditioning koudemiddelcircuit. Deze stijve vloeistofleiding transporteert hogedruk vloeibaar koudemiddel van de uitgang van de ontvanger/droger naar de koppeling die de voorste en achterste airconditioningslang aansluit.

Deze bevindt zich aan de vloeistofzijde van het systeem, stroomafwaarts van de condensor en de ontvanger/droger, en voert koudemiddel naar het expansieventiel. This A/C pipe sits on the liquid side of the Discovery 2 air conditioning circuit, downstream of the condenser and receiver/dryer, feeding refrigerant toward the expansion valve. It links the front and rear air conditioning hose runs. Sound sealing at both unions is essential to hold the refrigerant charge.

Why does an A/C liquid pipe fail?

An A/C liquid pipe typically fails through corrosion of the metal line or perished seals at the unions, which lets refrigerant leak out and stops the air conditioning cooling. On the Discovery 2 these pipes usually corrode where road salt and moisture collect. Replace the O-ring seals whenever the pipe is disturbed.
