Carterpan en filter van de transmissie voor de automatische 8-traps ZF 8HP-transmissie (8HP45 en 8HP70, en de latere 8HP51/8HP76-varianten).

De pan wordt aan de onderkant van de transmissie geschroefd en vormt het reservoir voor de automatische transmissievloeistof. Het geïntegreerde filter trekt vloeistof naar de pomp en vangt slijtagedeeltjes op voordat de vloeistof door het hydraulische regelcircuit gaat.

Omdat het filterelement in de pan is ingebouwd, wordt de assemblage compleet vernieuwd telkens wanneer de transmissievloeistof en het filter worden onderhouden.
