What is the LR123LH outer sill?
The LR123LH outer sill is the left-hand external body repair panel below the door aperture on two-door Range Rover Classic (up to 1994) bodyshells. It's the outermost skin of the sill assembly, spot-welded over the inner sill and closing panel, and the layer most exposed to road spray, salt and stone damage.
Does this sill fit any Range Rover Classic?
The LR123LH fits two-door Range Rover Classic bodyshells only, left-hand side. Two-door and four-door sills differ, so confirm your body style before ordering. This is a Classic-era panel not listed in the current JLR parts catalogue.
How is the outer sill fitted?
The outer sill is fitted as a cut-in welded repair panel, replacing the corroded visible skin where the inner structure is still sound. Inspect the inner sill and closing panel for corrosion and treat the enclosed surfaces before the new outer skin is welded in.
