What is Gear Fluid Supplement used for?

Gear Fluid Supplement is an additive for gear oil in manual transmissions, transfer cases, transaxles and final drives. It raises the oil's high-temperature stability to resist deposits on synchronisers and gear faces, cuts friction between gears and bearings, and improves heat transfer out of the gear case.

How much supplement should I add to the gear oil?

Add roughly 3 oz per quart of gear oil, about 10% of the fill. Use the same ratio whether you're topping up a transfer case, final drive or manual gearbox running gear oil.

Which gearboxes can this supplement be used in?

It suits any driveline unit running gear oil, including manual gearboxes, transfer cases, transaxles and final drives. It isn't tied to one model, so it works across Land Rover components that use gear oil rather than ATF.
