Deze getande ring zit tussen de naafmoer en de naafdragereenheid op de voorste fusee. What is the FRC8002 front hub lock washer and what does it do?

FRC8002 is a tabbed lock washer that fits between the hub nut and bearing assembly on the Defender, Discovery 1, and Range Rover Classic front stub axle. After the hub nut is torqued, the washer tabs are bent against the nut flats to lock it in place and prevent loosening in service.

Can the FRC8002 lock washer be reused, or must it be replaced every time?

Always replace it. The tabs are bent during installation to lock the hub nut, which permanently deforms them. Reusing a previously bent lock washer will not provide reliable nut retention. FRC8002 is a single-use item and should be renewed at every hub nut removal.
