Motorkapisolator is een veerkrachtig rubberen kussen dat deel uitmaakt van de motorkapsluiting aan de voorkant van de carrosserie.

Het is de aanslag waar de motorkap op rust wanneer deze gesloten is, waardoor speling wordt opgevangen om rammelen en trillingen te voorkomen en de zithoogte van de motorkap op zijn draagpunt wordt ingesteld. De isolator wordt in het frontpaneel of het spatscherm geplaatst en wordt licht samengedrukt wanneer de motorkap wordt vergrendeld.
