Frequently asked questions

What does the front ride height sensor do on a Range Rover L322?
The front ride height sensor measures suspension travel at the front right corner of the Range Rover L322 (2002-2012) air suspension. It reports its lever arm's angular position to the suspension control module, which regulates air spring pressure to hold the target ride height and keep the vehicle level.
Which corner does this ride height sensor fit?
This sensor fits the front right-hand (RH) corner of the Range Rover L322 (2002-2012) air suspension, mounting between the chassis and the front suspension link. It's a handed, corner-specific part, so confirm you need the front RH sensor before ordering.
Does this sensor fit all L322 Range Rovers?
This sensor is the 2010 model-year type and fits Range Rover L322 (2002-2012) air suspension from VIN 4A174108 onwards. Earlier L322 builds used a different sensor, so check your VIN against the 4A174108 break before ordering to confirm the correct type.
What are the signs of a failed ride height sensor?
A failed or drifting ride height sensor typically causes an incorrect corner height, an uneven stance or a suspension fault warning on the Range Rover L322 (2002-2012). The vehicle may sit low at one corner or refuse to raise. Faults are usually confirmed by reading the suspension module with a diagnostic tool.
