What is the rear bumperette and what does it do?
The rear bumperette is a right-hand corner end-cap that bolts to the outer end of the rear bumper cross-member. On the Land Rover Defender and Series 2/3 it protects the rear body tub corners from impact damage during loading and off-road use.
Does this rear bumperette fit a Defender 90?
No. This RH rear bumperette fits the Defender 110 and 130, not the 90, which uses a different rear body and bumper arrangement. It suits Land Rover Defender (1987-2006) and Series 2/3 applications, so confirm your body type before ordering.
Is this the left or right bumperette, and do I need both?
This is the right-hand (RH) rear bumperette. The left-hand corner is a separate part, so order two if you're replacing both sides. Each bumperette caps one outer end of the rear bumper cross-member.
