What is the RTC3519 Jubilee hose clip used for?

The RTC3519 is a worm-drive Jubilee hose clip for securing rubber hoses at coolant, heater and similar fluid connections. It clamps in the 70-90mm range, tightening evenly around the hose for a leak-free seal. It fits across Land Rover Series 2/3, Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic.

What hose diameter does this clip fit?

The RTC3519 clip suits hoses in the 70-90mm clamping range. Measure the outside diameter of your hose with the clip in place; it should sit comfortably within that band. Too large or too small a hose won't seal reliably even when the clip is tightened.

How many Jubilee hose clips do I need for a job?

Typically two clips are needed per hose, one at each end, so order to suit the number of connections you're replacing. For a full coolant hose replacement on a Land Rover you'll usually need several RTC3519 clips to cover all the hose joints.
