Achterwiellager (rechterzijde) is het hydraulische aandrijfmechanisme in de trommelrem aan de achterzijde, gemonteerd op de remankerplaat.

Onder pedaaldruk strekken de interne zuigers zich uit om de remschoenen naar buiten tegen de trommel te drukken, waarbij de hydraulische leidingdruk wordt omgezet in mechanische aandrijving van de schoenen. Deze eenheid past aan de rechterkant van de achteras. De remleiding wordt op de cilinder aangesloten via een 5/16" UNF wartelmoer.

The RTC3626 rear wheel cylinder is the hydraulic actuator in the rear drum brake, bolted to the brake backplate. Under pedal pressure its pistons push the brake shoes out against the drum. This is the right-hand version for the rear axle of the Defender 110/130 with rear drum brakes.

Which side does this wheel cylinder fit, and do I need a pair?

This RTC3626 is the right-hand rear wheel cylinder. The left-hand side is a separate part, so order that too if you're doing both corners. Wheel cylinders are usually replaced in pairs across the axle so braking stays even, especially once one has started to leak.
