Achterwielremcilinder (rechts) is de hydraulische actuator in de achtertrommelremconstructie, gemonteerd op de remankerplaat.

Onder pedaaldruk strekken de interne zuigers zich uit om de remschoenen naar buiten tegen de trommel te drukken, waardoor de hydraulische lijndruk wordt omgezet in mechanische bediening van de schoenen. Dit onderdeel past aan de rechterkant van de achteras. De remleiding wordt via een 5/16" UNF-koppeling op de cilinder aangesloten.

What does the RTC3626 rear wheel cylinder do?
The RTC3626 rear wheel cylinder is the hydraulic actuator in the right-hand rear drum brake, mounted to the brake backplate. Under pedal pressure its pistons push the brake shoes against the drum. It fits the Land Rover Defender 110/130 from 1983 to 2006.
Which side of the axle does the RTC3626 fit?
The RTC3626 fits the right-hand side of the rear axle. Wheel cylinders are handed, so the left-hand side takes a different unit. Check you're ordering the correct side for the corner you're working on.
Should I replace both rear wheel cylinders at once?
