Inertiaschakelaar in de brandstoftoevoer- en motorelektriciteitscircuit. Deze onderbreekt de elektrische voeding naar de brandstofpomp bij een plotselinge impact of hevige vertraging, waardoor de brandstoftoevoer na een botsing wordt gestopt.

Eenmaal geactiveerd, wordt de schakelaar handmatig gereset door op de plunjer te drukken.
