Engine oil pump assembly for the 2.0L four-cylinder 8-valve TCIE diesel engine, forming part of the engine lubrication circuit.

The pump is driven from the crankshaft and draws oil from the sump through the pick-up strainer, delivering it under pressure to the oil filter and on to the main and big-end bearings, the cylinder head and the turbocharger. Low or unstable oil pressure, and rising oil pressure warning activity at idle, are the usual reasons for renewal.
