Bonnet Catch Plate is the mounting plate for the bonnet slam catch, located in the grille and front panel structure as part of the bonnet release assembly.
It provides the fixed securing point onto which the catch mechanism is fastened, setting the position at which the bonnet latch engages as the bonnet is closed. By holding the catch in correct alignment within the front panel, it maintains consistent engagement and release of the bonnet.
