Panhard Rod - front axle lateral location.
The panhard rod ties the front axle to the chassis laterally, resisting sideways movement of the axle while the radius arms control its fore-and-aft location. It mounts to a bracket on the axle casing at one end and to a chassis bracket at the other.
Worn bushes at either eye allow lateral axle movement, which shows up as steering wander and imprecise turn-in.
