Contact Set - Lucas Distributor is the breaker-point set for the ignition distributor.

Mounted on the distributor baseplate, the points are opened and closed by the distributor cam as the shaft rotates. Each time they open they interrupt the primary current through the ignition coil, collapsing its magnetic field to fire the high-tension spark. The set comprises a fixed contact and a spring-loaded moving contact, and fits the Lucas distributor used on the petrol engine. The contact gap must be set correctly on installation.
