The set covers the joints disturbed by a cylinder head removal, so the upper engine can be reassembled from one part rather than each gasket being sourced individually.

The cylinder head gasket itself is not part of this set and must be ordered separately. On this engine the head gasket is graded by thickness against measured piston protrusion, so the correct grade must be established during the rebuild.
