4-Pin Differential for the Land Rover-type axle.

The differential takes drive from the propshaft through the crown wheel and pinion and splits it between the two halfshafts, allowing the road wheels to turn at different speeds through corners. The 4-pin design carries torque across four planet (pinion) gears instead of two, giving greater strength for heavily loaded and off-road use.
