Frequently asked questions

What is the STC1235 headlamp assembly?

It's an OEM right-hand headlamp assembly for left-hand-drive Discovery 1s, providing the complete lamp unit for that corner.

Which Discovery 1 models fit this headlamp?

It fits LHD Discovery 1s from VIN MA081992 onwards. Earlier-built vehicles or right-hand-drive models use a different headlamp assembly.

Does this headlamp include the bulb?

Headlamp assemblies like this are typically supplied with the housing and reflector only; check whether your existing bulb and adjuster motor need transferring across or ordering separately.

Do I need to fit both left and right headlamps together?

Not necessarily, each side can be replaced independently, though matching beam pattern and lens condition side-to-side is worth checking if only replacing one.
