Propshaft Nut - Rear - nut retaining the rear propshaft flange at the rear differential pinion.

The nut clamps the propshaft coupling flange against the differential pinion yoke. It must be tightened to the specified torque on installation; an insufficiently torqued nut allows propshaft movement that causes driveline vibration and accelerated universal joint wear.
