Tow Bar Kit - detachable swan neck towing bracket for the rear chassis mounting points.

The curved swan neck carries the tow ball as a single piece and locates into a receiver on the vehicle-mounted bracket, where it is secured by a key-operated lock. The neck can be released and taken off when not towing, leaving only the receiver in place.

Supplied with a quick-release tow ball assembly.

What is the Detachable Swan Neck Tow Bar Kit (VPLFT0119)?

It's a detachable swan neck tow bar for the Freelander 2. The curved neck carries the tow ball as one piece and locks into a receiver on the vehicle bracket. It releases and lifts off when you're not towing.

How is it different from the fixed and flange kits?

This is detachable, so the swan neck and ball come off with a key-operated lock, leaving only the receiver on the vehicle. Fixed swan neck and flange kits stay in place permanently. Pick detachable for a clean rear when not towing.

Does it fit all Freelander 2 models?

It fits the Land Rover Freelander 2 (2006-2014), but it's not compatible with the Body Styling Pack. Check whether your vehicle has that pack fitted before ordering, as the rear bumper differs.
