Differential pinion oil seal installed in the axle housing to seal the pinion shaft where it passes through the differential casing.
The seal forms the primary oil barrier between the differential gear assembly and the external flange connection, maintaining lubricant retention within the axle and preventing contamination ingress at the rotating pinion interface.
The seal is positioned at the front of the differential pinion shaft, directly behind the drive flange, and operates as part of the final drive lubrication system by maintaining the integrity of the axle oil chamber surrounding the crown wheel and pinion gear set.
