Differential Carrier Gasket for the Rover-type axle assembly.

The gasket seals the differential carrier housing against the axle casing at the central carrier flange. On Rover-type axles, the differential carrier is a self-contained unit bolted into the centre of the axle casing; this gasket maintains the oil seal at that joint and must be replaced whenever the carrier is withdrawn for inspection or overhaul.

On Defender models, this gasket applies to the front axle only. The Salisbury rear axle uses a different gasket.
