Front Wishbone Ball Joint - the articulating joint at the outer end of the front wishbone, part of the front double-wishbone suspension.

The joint forms the pivot between the wishbone and the hub carrier, allowing the wheel to steer and to travel vertically while locating it against cornering and braking loads. It is a press fit into the wishbone and is supplied as a separate service item, so a worn joint can be renewed without replacing the complete arm. It serves the wishbones JLM21302 (right-hand) and JLM21303 (left-hand).

A press and the correct support tooling are required to draw out the old joint and seat the new one square in its housing. Wear typically shows as a knock over broken surfaces and imprecise steering.
