Bonnet Release Cable - Front Section for the Range Rover L322 bonnet release system.

The L322 bonnet release operates via a two-part cable run. This front cable connects the interior release handle (located in the driver's footwell) and runs through the bulkhead to a junction point in the engine bay, where it connects to the rear section of the cable that actuates the bonnet latch. Sold as a single cable.

Frequently asked questions

What does the FSE000030 front bonnet release cable do?
The FSE000030 is the front section of the two-part bonnet release cable on the Range Rover L322 (2002-2012). It runs from the interior release handle in the driver's footwell, through the bulkhead, to a junction in the engine bay where it links to the rear cable that actuates the bonnet latch.
Is this the only cable I need to release the bonnet?
Not necessarily. The L322 bonnet release uses two cable sections, and the FSE000030 is the front half only, from the handle to the engine bay junction. If the fault is at the latch end you may need the rear section instead. Check which part of the run has failed before ordering.
Why does the L322 bonnet release cable fail?
L322 bonnet release cables typically fail when the inner cable stretches, frays or seizes in its outer sleeve, or the handle end detaches, leaving the bonnet hard to open. Replacing the front FSE000030 section restores proper pull from the footwell handle to the engine bay junction.
