Wiper Nut - the special flanged nut for the windscreen wiper wheel box spindle. The wheel box is the geared pivot housing the wiper arm mounts to; this nut clamps the spindle through the body panel and locates the wiper arm pivot.

It forms part of the windscreen wiper linkage, the flange spreading clamping load to hold the spindle against the operating torque of the wiper arm.
