Hex Nut - M16 flanged nut with a nylon insert.

Used on the rear anti-roll bar mounting pin and on rear suspension knuckle fixings. The nylon collar deforms around the bolt thread as the nut is tightened, so the joint holds against vibration and suspension loading, while the integral flange spreads the clamp load across the mounting face and removes the need for a separate washer.

Renew rather than reuse: the locking effect is reduced once the nut has been run off the thread.
