Front Air Suspension Strut - Right-Hand - a complete corner unit combining the damper and the air spring in a single assembly, forming part of the electronic air suspension system.
The rolling-lobe air spring carries the corner load and sets ride height, while the integral damper controls wheel movement. Air is metered into and out of the spring by the suspension ECU through the valve block and reservoir. A failing strut shows either as a corner that settles overnight, a suspension height fault, or as the loss of damping control associated with a worn damper.
Supplied as a complete assembly, so the air spring and damper are renewed together rather than serviced separately. This is the right-hand front unit; the left-hand front strut is listed separately.
