Oil Seal Retainer for the front axle swivel housing assembly, in stainless steel for the 24-spline front axle. This retaining plate holds the swivel housing oil seal square against the chrome swivel ball, sealing the constant-velocity joint housing and retaining the swivel lubricant.

The plate bolts to the outer face of the swivel housing, clamping the seal so it bears evenly on the ball throughout the steering arc. The stainless construction resists the corrosion that can distort a plain steel plate and allow the seal to lift and leak.
