Brake Pad Wear Warning Wire for the rear brake pad wear-indicator circuit.

Routes against the rear brake pad and forms part of the electrical wear-warning loop. As the friction material reaches its wear limit, the brake disc abrades the wire and breaks the circuit, illuminating the brake pad wear warning on the instrument cluster to prompt pad replacement.
