Fuel Cooler for the TDV6 / TDV8 diesel fuel system. Fitted in the fuel return line, it dissipates the heat that fuel absorbs while circulating through the high-pressure injection circuit, lowering its temperature before it returns to the tank.

Cooling the return fuel protects the tank and fuel-level sender from heat and keeps fuel temperature within the range the injection system is designed for. It is mounted in the airflow beneath the vehicle so passing air draws heat away through its fins.
