Brake Vacuum Pump for the 2.4L TDCi diesel engine, part of the braking vacuum supply.

Driven by the engine, it generates the vacuum the brake servo needs to provide power assistance at the brake pedal. A diesel engine produces little usable manifold vacuum, so this dedicated pump supplies the servo directly.

The companion mounting gasket is LR004381, normally renewed whenever the pump is replaced.
