Description:
Front camshaft oil seal for the cylinder head assembly, installed at the front of the camshaft to maintain an oil-tight seal between the camshaft and cylinder head housing.
It prevents engine oil leakage at the timing end while allowing rotational movement of the camshaft within the head assembly. Used on Td5 2.5L 5 Cylinder Turbo Diesel engines fitted to Defender and Discovery 2 models.
This seal is positioned behind the timing components and forms part of the engine lubrication sealing system at the cylinder head.
