O-ring voor waterpijp voor de 4.0L en 4.6L V8 benzinemotor, voor het afdichten van een verbinding op de waterpijp van de koelvloeistof.

De waterpijp verdeelt de koelvloeistof over de motor, en deze O-ring dicht de verbinding tussen de pijp en zijn tegenstuk af om lekkage van koelvloeistof te voorkomen. Een versleten O-ring is een veelvoorkomende oorzaak van lekkage op deze verbinding, dus het is het beste om deze te vernieuwen telkens wanneer de waterpijp wordt losgemaakt.

What is the ERR7202 water rail O-ring used for?
The ERR7202 water rail O-ring seals a connection on the coolant water rail of the 4.0L and 4.6L V8 petrol engine. The water rail distributes coolant across the engine, and this O-ring seals the joint between the rail and its mating housing to stop coolant leaks.
Where is the water rail on the V8 engine?
The water rail runs across the top of the 4.0/4.6L V8, in the valley between the cylinder banks, distributing coolant around the engine. This O-ring seals one of its connections, so it's reached once the upper induction components are removed to access the rail.
Why does the water rail O-ring fail?
The water rail O-ring typically perishes and hardens with heat and age, causing coolant seepage at the rail connection. It's a small part but a common leak point on the V8, so it's best renewed whenever the water rail is disturbed rather than refitting an old seal.
How many O-rings do I need?
