Deze kleine rubberen afsluitplug past in een opening aan de bovenkant van de versnellingsbaktunnel en dicht ongebruikte openingen in de afdekplaat van de transmissietunnel af. Het voorkomt het binnendringen van geluid, dampen en vocht in de cabine vanuit het transmissiegebied eronder.
