Stuurbekrachtigingspomp - Hydraulische pomp van het Hobourn-type voor het stuurbekrachtigingscircuit van V8-motoren. Deze wordt aangedreven door de krukas via een V-riem en genereert de hydraulische druk die de stuurbekrachtiging bedient.

De pomp zuigt vloeistof aan uit het reservoir en levert onder druk staande vloeistof aan het stuurhuisventiel, waardoor de benodigde inspanning aan het stuurwiel wordt verminderd. Dit is de oudere pomp met V-riemaandrijving, verschillend van het latere type met multiriemaandrijving.
