Carterontluchtingsfilter is het carterventilatie filter dat op de tuimelaardeksel van de V8 EFI benzinemotor is gemonteerd.

Het filtert oliedamp en -nevel uit de carterontluchtingsgassen voordat deze terug in het inlaatsysteem worden gezogen, waardoor de inlaat schoon blijft en de juiste carterventilatie wordt gehandhaafd. Het filterelement raakt tijdens gebruik vervuild met olie en sludge en wordt periodiek vervangen om een beperkte ontluchting en olieoverdracht te voorkomen.
