When should this O-ring be replaced?

Replace the ERR4710 O-ring whenever the crankshaft sprocket or front timing cover is disturbed during service on the 300TDi. It's a single-use seal, so reusing an old O-ring typically leads to oil weeps from the timing case. Fit a new one any time the timing case is opened.
