The ETC4067 inlet valve opens on the induction stroke to admit the air/fuel charge, then seals against its seat during compression and combustion. It has a 34.5mm head and fits the late 2.25L and 2.5L 4-cylinder petrol engines in the Land Rover Series 2/3 and Defender up to 2016.

How many inlet valves are needed for a head rebuild?

Typically four inlet valves are needed for a complete 4-cylinder petrol head, as these engines run one inlet valve per cylinder. The ETC4067 is sold individually, so order the quantity your rebuild requires.

What are the signs an inlet valve needs replacing?
