Biedt een lager oppervlak op het distributieriempad, geleidt de getande riem en handhaaft de uitlijning naast de spanner. Inspecteer en vernieuw telkens wanneer de distributieriem wordt onderhouden. Geschikt voor alle 200 TDi en eerdere 300 TDi motoren; wanneer een 300 TDi is omgebouwd naar de latere distributieriem-opstelling, is de opvolger-spanrol LHV100150 in plaats daarvan vereist.

What does the ETC8560 idler pulley do?
The ETC8560 idler pulley guides the toothed timing belt on the 300TDi engine, giving the belt a bearing surface that holds its alignment alongside the tensioner. It's fitted to the Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic 300TDi as part of the timing belt drive.
When should the idler pulley be replaced?
Inspect and renew the idler pulley whenever the timing belt is serviced. A worn idler bearing typically becomes noisy or rough and can let the belt wander, so it's usually replaced together with the belt and tensioner rather than on its own.
How do I know if I need this idler or the later LHV100150?
The ETC8560 fits the 300TDi up to VIN VA117353 (Defender) and VA560897 (Discovery 1). Later engines, or a 300TDi converted to the revised timing belt arrangement, use the successor idler LHV100150 instead, so check your VIN to confirm which pulley your engine needs.
