Oliecarter voor de 2.4L en 2.2L Duratorq TDCi Puma dieselmotoren, vastgeschroefd aan de onderzijde van het cilinderblok.

Het carter vormt het oliereservoir onderaan de motor, vangt olie op die terugkomt van de klepbediening en lagers en houdt deze vast bij de aanzuigbuis waar de oliepomp de olie vandaan haalt. Het sluit het onderste carter af en bevat de aftapplug voor olieverversingen.

The engine sump is the oil reservoir bolted to the base of the 2.4L and 2.2L Duratorq TDCi Puma diesel engine. It collects oil returning from the bearings and valvetrain and holds it at the pick-up where the oil pump draws from. It seals the lower crankcase and carries the drain plug.

How do I know this sump fits my Defender?

This sump fits the Defender 2007 to 2016. For the 2.4L Duratorq TDCi Puma it covers VIN 7A000001 to BA999999, and for the 2.2L TDCi Puma it covers VIN CA000001 onwards. Check your VIN against these ranges to confirm which Puma engine your Defender has before ordering.
