De koppelingshulpcilinder is de hydraulische actuator in het koppelingsontkoppelingscircuit, die vloeistof onder druk van de koppelingshoofdcilinder omzet in mechanische kracht om het koppelingsontkoppelingsmechanisme te bedienen.

Wanneer het koppelingspedaal wordt ingetrapt, duwt de vloeistofdruk de zuiger van de hulpcilinder naar buiten, die op de ontkoppelingsvork werkt om de aangedreven plaat los te koppelen van het vliegwiel en soepel schakelen mogelijk te maken.

Ontworpen voor Puma TDCi dieselmotor toepassingen.
