Kruiskoppeling stuurkolom - de onderste koppeling in de stuurkolomverbinding.

De kruiskoppeling verbindt twee schuin geplaatste delen van de stuuras en zendt rotatie van het stuurwiel naar de stuurinrichting, terwijl de hoekige offset tussen de delen wordt opgevangen. De onderste koppeling bevindt zich aan de onderkant van de kolom waar de aandrijving naar de ingang van de stuurinrichting draait. Slijtage aan deze koppeling veroorzaakt speling en een schokkerig gevoel aan het stuurwiel.
